Your Donations support the mission to which the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers of Columbia COunty Senior Services, Inc. are committed. That mission is to serve the needs of older people in Columbia County in such a manner as to preserve their independence and dignity throughout their lifetimes. Our mothers and fathers, grandparents and aunts and uncles were unprepared for the the long life which science has given to them. Many have outlived loved ones, even children. It has been hard for many seniors of limited income to prepare for such a long life, so many have outlived their resources.
We are committed to being here for the long haul to support the needs of older people in our community. We face many challenges, most of which are caused by unstable and static funding. We have served Columbia County for 40 years and will work to be here another 40 years. If you retire at 65 and live to be 100, the next 35 years can be a blessing or a curse. Help us to help seniors look forward to and enjoy a quality of life which includes regular meals, access to transportation, recreation, fitness and fellowship. Your donation of any size and amount are welcome.
