Extended Family Services

Here at Columbia County Senior Services we offer low-cost Client Directed Care. This means you can choose the type of care needed with each visit. Seniors age 60+ are able to get the care they need without having to leave the comfort of their own home. We strive to make sure our clients get the best service found in Columbia County!

We offer:

Homemaking

Staff members will come out and help tidy your home to your specifications. Kitchen, bathroom, meal prep, laundry, etc…

Personal Care

Help getting ready for the day either getting clothes out, brushing/combing hair, bathing, meal prep, etc…

Companionship

Walks around the property, conversations, a game of cards,rides to the store, etc…

All EFS staff members are dedicated to providing you and your family with care as if they were an extension of your family.

• All employees are drug tested

• All employees are background screened

• All CNA’s are licensed and bonded

The Club-Dementia Day Program

Here at Columbia County Senior Services we pride ourselves on our Dementia Day Program. We offer daily activities tailored to each client to promote cognitive stability. Our licensed and trained staff provide a warm and calm environment for clients to enjoy while giving caregivers peace of mind knowing that their loved one is in good hands. We strive to make sure our clients get the best service and care being the only facility of our kind in Columbia County! Open now from 8am to 4pm.

Nutrition

All clients receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack daily. All meals follow strict state regulations to make sure of optimal nutritional value.

Weekly Themes

Each week there are 2 to 3 themes of the week that are incorporated into daily activities.

Outdoor Experience

Clients go outside twice a day to walk around the facility, enjoy outdoor activities, or rest in our butterfly garden.  

All Dementia Day Program members are dedicated to providing you and your family with care as if they were an extension of your family

Program is overseen by a Licensed RN

All employees are background screened

All employees drug tested

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Columbia County Senior Services Center is to assist adults age 60+ in maintaining their physical, mental, emotional, and nutritional health needs. We strive to reinvigorate a person’s feelings of usefulness, and their capacity to celebrate life and socialization. 

OUR VISION

The vision is to provide a continuum of services and care which offers assistance needed at different points in life. The services offered to 60+ adults, their caregivers, and family provide a holistic approach to active aging.
