Family Caregiver Support Programs
We provide planned and emergency relief for the 24/7 caregiver in your home or at a licensed facility. Speak to one of our Case Managers if this program would be a benefit to you.
If you are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke, etc., join our Dementia support groups. Meet with other caregivers in a confidential environment to share problems and concerns.
Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at 2pm.
The Family Caregiver Support Group meets in Lake City the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10am-noon. There is also training for caregivers on the 3rd Friday of each month at the LifeStyle Enrichment Center in Lake City.
Alzheimer's Disease Initiative: A program designed to give extra hours of respite to the caregiver of an Alzheimer's patient.
Home Care for the Elderly Program: A basic subsidy program designed to help a family keep an older family member at home. A special subsidy is also available to help pay for medical supplies and medications.
